Happy holidays and merry XMAS PEOPLE!!!

Well, so far the family landed in GuangZhou on the 24th, and we've made our way in to Zhangjiajie, and we got our first White Christmas! Definitely worth the scolding from my dad when we decided to stand under a snow-laden tree and shake all the snow down on top of us.....mom joined in too...XD looks like she gets to fulfill a childhood dream of hers but hey come on....those of us in the tropical areas dont really get the opportunity to spend a winter with snow.

hmmmmm an amusing weekend.
On Saturday, I went to see Mao's Last dancer with my brother and my mom. It was an ok film in general but the dancing was superb as expected. The downside was that my brother and i......WERE THE YOUNGEST OF EVERYBODY IN THE CINEMA! All the rest were grandmas and grandpas.....sigh.... On top of it all, my mom was crying pretty much all the way through the movie because of how touching the movie is while my dear brother was letting out really horrendous and suffocating stink bombs out from his butt which had me choking halfway through the movie and in the car. -_- go my wonderful family
And today, i went to catch up with some friends at GO3 which i've not seen for ages which was quite good and all.....but how did i end up sitting out at the panic booth? O_o
All i did was rock up there, and whoa im helping?
Heres when I thought i was no longer participating in Panic Events, go me/.
Not that im really complaining, but I just somehow manage to end up in all kinds of situations.... |

.....Man, my week has been pretty shit so far....
On monday night, I find out that my facebook account had been hacked into and had one of those spam ads posted on my status which seriously pisseed me off....
DO I LOOK LIKE SOMEONE WHO NEEDED TO LOSE WEIGHT?!
Im pretty much a really scrawny person so losing 8 and a half pounds would seriously impact on my health. =.=
So thats Fail no. 1
FAIL no. 2!
On tuesday morning, i had to go back into Tafe for supplementary classes since the lecturer is away for the next 2 classes after term break. And of allthe days, he just ahd to pick the day of the week which was wet...cant really blame him for that,the date was set long before the forecast came through
Fail no. 3!
On the way to Tafe, I had to go with my brother to drop some of his equipment off at Charles Gardner only to get stuck in lift for more than 15 mins. Big fail....was late to class because of that
EPIC FAIL 4!!
I called up Telstra to clear up some unneccessary charges to my internet bill....which ends up destroying my internet account. Because the person misunderstood what i wanted, she ends up canceling my entire account and so I am stuck without proper connection. So i have to wait for a whole week for the new modem and account to be set up. Watch me go through my internet withdrawal phase.....this is going to suck so badly.
As compensation, they will however give me 6 months worth of free internet which i feel is really not enough for this screw up |

seriously i think i've joined the group of "Have laptop, will travel" I pull it out to play with whenever i take the train home back from tafe or basically wherever i go,
Damn. I am addicted to my laptop, and is the product of the current generation whose eyes are glued towards the screen.

So here i am, posting up again after long absence from lj....well not really, i just troll through my friend's list. Anyhow.....this week was fairly interesting....had Kendo on monday and had fun with that, although it is kinda weird to yell.... <_<

Completed the first subject of the Tafe Cert IV level today, that gives me 12 more to finish yay! The one thing i disliked was that during the assessment today, i seem to have neglected reading a certain part when revising for the test which irritated me because if i had, my score would have been better oh well....
uh....well....normal everyday life i suppose, feeling too lazy to write up more

hey all,
just a small update to let everyone know that i am not dead just quite yet.
So i've been back in Perth for about....4 weeks and is back into the swing of things. So I am back into Tafe studying Information Technology (Networking)....typical asian geek course.......and the course is completely dominated by guys! So much for having any chance of hooking up with girls whilst studying......oh well, not a priority.
So what else have I been doing? Not entirely all that much, but the more interesting activity i joined: Kendo. My brother and I joined the group at UWA for kendo and we both find it intriguing except my brother is being a racist bastard because the person teaching us is a white guy so he feels that its not quite right.
Its quite interesting to do except the warmups are alot easier than what I would have expected. Its only been about 3 weeks so I am still patient in learning the strikes.
Anyhow, back to class

....What a way to wake up in the morning. We caught a rat using a glue-trap so it was twitching in the kitchen protesting loudly and because my room is right next to the kitchen, i can hear the squeaking and the twitching so it was a fun night to sleep....So this morning I opened up the closet with my clothes in it to find it has been littered with many days old rat dung in it. Apparently rats had been nesting in my clothes and decided that my clothes are better off as their toilet....

So i went to see Blood the Last Vampire live action....and i regretted it.
Not even my respect and liking for Jun ji heon could save it. They tried to make it as bloody and gory as they did for the original movie but that really failed because of Malaysian censorship and the really really loose plotline they tried to tack onto it.
If you basically want to see highschool girl chopping up lots of bodies and two afros, go ahead and watch it but really dont expect to be entertained much.
I usually dont mind watching mindless movies but for this one.....I want my money back. If i had really known how bad it was, i'd have waited to buy the dvd. At least then i can replay it and laugh about how bad it is.
So after dropping my friend off back at her place, I drove home (without getting lost, yay!) only to find....my gate mostly blocked by some obnoxious 4-wheel drive. I really hate those 4-wheelers when they drive in the city, espeicially one this congested. ANyhow, thanks to my not-so-bad driving skills, i managed to squeeze my car down into my driveway, reversing. down. a. slope. I thankfully did not touch the gate or the jeep on the way down which is quite a considerable feat if you knew the kind of angle needed for this.
So after i parked the car, i went to the new restaurant directly opposite my house and inquired about the jeep. Luck owuld have it, the driver was inside and the restaurant owner started apologising to me alot as they got the guy to move his jeep. That was cool, so long as they understood why parking like that was a problem espeicially for us.
Then the driver came, and went to move the car. My dad decided to scold him a bit because really it was a dumb thing to do considering he had ample space behind him. Instead of parking in front of a office where theres no transaction happening during the weekend, he goes and park in front of house where theres an obvious need for easy access to drive in and out.
His excuse: "I didnt know there was a car here"
WHAT KIND OF IDIOT WOULD THINK THAT WHEN ALL THE OTHER HOUSES HAVE DRIVEWAYS AND CARS IN THEM?!
My dad was saying "This is a house, dont you live in a house?"
His reply in standard smartass tone: "Noo....I live in an apartment"
THat really pissed me off after that, and he didnt apologise after he drove off.

so i just had my violin lesson
It feels good to start my violin lessons again and was somewhat surprised about how much came back to me and also somewhat frustating.
I'm glad that i can remember alot of it but my fingers have kinda lost dexterity so i feel....clumsy. I kept making mistakes all over the place and the dumbest thing is that i lost track of where i was on the music sheet! Like after playing three quarters of the page i am going "....where am I..?"
Thinking back i regretted how much i neglected the violin when i was younger, always looking for ways to escape lessons and practice. Now that I am older I now appreciate what i can do with the violin....and frustated over how much i CANNOT do with it

SOOOO good people of livejournal landdd!!!
i just got home 40 mins ago and am now updating in my underwear. Why? Because i feel cranky and impulsive at the moment. Its quite interesting my working life. I'm trying to keep up the routine of waking up 6 in the morning every alternate day so i can go run in Lake Gardens while the sun rises and then heading for work.
I'm feeling more at ease with myself now more than I felt maybe a year ago (read : less emo) Today I met up with an old highschool mate and together we went to see our own violin teacher whom neither of us have seen for...more than 7 years. It felt good to meet up with him and general consensus is that NONE of us have actually changed. Ok i may have changed slightly from short spiky hair to the current fad.
So now, we both have decided to pick up the violins again....hope i can regain some skill before i have to leave again!

1. Home
I suppose this makes sense since most of the time i did actually see you was either at your workplace or at home. I remember the time when you helped me with my photoproject by letting me use that white wall of yours XD and no you're not allowed to say you didnt do anything except for sitting there. Theres also those picnic/parties which ended up in your house anyway as well. Actually, its been either seeing you at your place or you coming to pick me up from my place as well.....for which im grateful. Theres also that time after the Royal Perth show where I was pretty much attempting to cram down Macross Frontier and other anime series down your throat which also included FATE/STAY Night too as well.
2. Mech
Ah yes, my one and all-encompassing passion. I think there was hardly a time when we talked that i actually did NOT say anything that regarded mecha. Thank you for putting up with me whenever i go off at a mecha-related rant where i either would be bouncing off the walls or when i would be whimpering due to lack-of or dissapointments to mecha. That being said, people knowing my fixations are absolutely evil when it comes to those things. Like when nekomiao and twinkl33 went for Manifest last year. They sent photos back of the mecha models which i really wanted!! Which lead to an interstate call with lots of namecalling relating to the term 'evil'.
Oh yes, there have been times where i've been known to whimper and the classic example is when i called up the WRONG NUMBER and reaching k_chan009 instead of silver_rage which lead to massive whimpering because I was inadvertantly calling when they were cosplaying from my most favourite mecha series. Much LOLs they had on my part.
On the upside....the whole mention of mecha models can really lift up my spirits. Much thanks to silver_rage for getting me the 1/100 Force Impulse Master Grade. I think ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) sansele and her was really amused by my expression when we went to pick it up.nekomiao knows just how far my game-obsession would go. Espeicially to the point where i would stay up many nights without sleep searching for the one game that i just HAVE to play *cough* xenogears *cough* She was like "ITS 5 in morning and you havent slept yet?!" thanks to a random txt message i sent because the game i downloaded several times did not run properly.
4. TD
TD = Tower Defence. Up to this day I dont think i've actually forgiven myself and nekomiao for this. It is pretty amusing. While working, I was complaining about how bored i was to her over MSN. So she decided to send me a Warcraft 3 tower defence flash game. Yes it stopped my boredom...unfortunately it also caused production in the ENTIRE department to come to a grinding halt for a whole afternoon. See the rest of the office staff saw me playing the game and they went oh that looks good.....which lead to everybody in the department playing the frigging TD game. THis left me going....OMG...what have i done! O_O
.....in gaming terms....GG me.
Ever since then i've not dared to touch any more TD game sites. T_T
5. Photography
Yes, my other passion which lead to me meeting a huge host of interesting and good friends. Definitely without the photography, i'd not be able to meet alot of people which i otherwise might not have seen, not to mention seeing places and events which i wouldnt otherwise bother with. But like all things, everything has good sides and bad sides. Because of photography, i've been mentally scarred many times and god save me from yaoi fan girrrlllsss!!!!
Anyway, photography has lead me down interesting paths such as meeting horses, finding little groves in unexpected places, running all over Perth for an event. Really I dont think i could give this up despite what my family wants..
Anyhow i'd like to elaborate more on it but i have better sleep
